I have a few ideas about mods that I'd love to see come to Bannerlord that would likely make use of all of it's systems and more open moddability. I'd like to list off all these ideas and get community input on whether they'd like to see them done, whether they'll be possible, or anything else you'd like to say about them!A Western ModNotable features would be the expansion of towns via upgrades as we've seen in some of the Warband campaign demos, which would allow access to such things as a saloon, a small fort for the US Army, etc. Some features on the side could be customizable revolvers, repeaters, shotguns, and rifles, if possible, various modifications that change the amount of bullets the guns can hold, the type of stock the weapon uses (ivory, various different woods), the type of metal the gun uses, etc.Factions would likely include the Native Americans, the US Army, the Lawmen, the Vigilantes, the Mexican Army and the Outlaws (which would be scatt.
I have an army of Kingsman and Rangers (Tol and Eli) with some templar of faith cavalry. About 70 in total. I can take on most spawns that I've encountered bar eagles, faith and large heretics -I'm about lvl 11. 100 days in.The issue is - I do almost zero (negative even) damage on units. I'm guessing I have to be a much higher level to fight them? Similiar experience in Pendor but I can kill some things in Pendor. 102% difficulty.
Everything on normal or good.By no damage I mean literally 'you have delivered zero damage' all day. I mainly use a 2h/1h sword on horseback.Submitted May 31, 2017 at 04:40PM by korvyr1 http://ift.tt/2sovXV8. Hey,After GOG released M&B for free I got hooked. Buyed Warbend and play it non-stop (minus my own company, family and sleep, so not that much actually, but hey). Probably will not have time to go back to this game in the future. I play my first longer than week campaign in Warbeng and considering working my way up, I wan to remember this game. I am after about a year in a game started as son of warrior, and I currently one of the 4 most powerful lords of Nords.
I own Dhirim and 3 fifs (Abaem, Telibe and Azgot). I consider my future options. Currently Nord are steamrolling - Swadia is almoust destroyed (Suno, Praven and my Dhirim in Nord hands). Nord most powerfull - Ragnar with around 330 army, and marchall with total 800. Nords are only in one war at a time - currently winning with Veagir - Curaw taken, and Reyvading going here and forth. Other factions - more-less standard power. As of me - I managed to secure Dhirim with 300 garisson, and can field 100 army, with half of it eli. First, I'm just curious, did you guys choose to duel Egil or Reginhard because I can't decide.
Sure, Reginhard betrays you, but Egil is just such a prick.Second, when you join either Northumbria or West Seaxe, which companions do you lose for both of these decisions? I've read that certain companions can be convinced to stay if they have a high enough relationship with you, so how high does their relationship with you have to be in order for them to stay?Submitted May 30, 2017 at 04:50PM by WhiteOrca http://ift.tt/2rlw7zm.
So recently we've been crushing the Rhodoks, we've captured tons of their lords and even took their capital of Veluca. Their military is more of a scrappy resistance force than an actual army and wiping them off the face of Calradia would be a piece of cake. This is around when Harlaus decided to start a war with the Sarranid Sultanate due to a border incident that happened absolutely ages ago.
I was completely furious knowing that I'd have to lose even more men fighting than I already was.The day the war began the Sarranids came at us hard, attempting to siege not one but two of our capitals, Dhirim and the recently captured Veluca. While this was happening Harlaus decided to head off on an adventure to siege Shariz. He also decided not to tell anyone and to only bring his army of about 170 men.Once I had realised where he was I rushed as fast as I could to his aid to find him in a losing battle against Sultan Hakim. After an epic, bloody battle we emerged victorious, but. Hey Guys,I've been playing PoP lately and whew, its harder than most mods I've played. However I've found myself getting absolutely destroyed by everyone, my troops are piss poor and every bandit seems so dank that I am lost.Where are the most basic (looteresque) bandits found? Can someone be so kind as to give me a list of bandits starting from the most basic rabble to those bandits that can go toe to toe with lords and there respective locations?Submitted May 30, 2017 at 02:08PM by Jtuma111 http://ift.tt/2qwNNsN. Hey all, I'm about 400 days into a game right and I, relatively recently, started my own kingdom by sweeping through the Valahir Clans after the Zann invasion.
I now own most of the northern isle but I'm trying to find someone to marry to further increase my RtR while I have a bit of time where I am not at war with anyone. I am playing a woman so I was looking for a land owning, good-natured lord with a good amount of renown, which I finally found in General Hiero of the Zann (who just happens to hold Riechburg) but he then told me 'You serve another realm. I don't see Average (I dont know why he said Average) granting his blessing on our union.' Does that mean that I cant marry ANY lord from another faction until they join mine or just good-natured ones or something else?Submitted May 30, 2017 at 01:51AM by MenosElLso http://ift.tt/2sgny6t. So currently playing Gekokujo and I am kind of laughing about how fast things are moving on. I joined the Chosokabe faction and helped them gain back some of their fiefs, while at the same time mashing down their enemies.I own only 1 town and finally managed to conquer an enemy town for us.
I was shocked though to find out Great Lord Chosokabe did not think I should keep it. It actually tempted me to accept his money offer, cause it was (wow, it should be like this in all modules), but it pissed me off since I only have 1 fief, while the other lords have 3-4.I wonder if AI in Gekokujo is smart, realizing that 1 town does not equal 1 village, so I was not given what I asked. But dayum, this is the fastest I ever revolted in! Got 1 town, gave back my initial village and got denied on my second one, since he wants it for himselfEdit: By the way I have (had) 35 relationship with him, some lords love me from the faction, while the rest like me, 1717 renown, which might not be huge.
I have some chronicler quests running. I've captured the three towns for the Norse Chronicler quest. I own Dorestad, Ribe and Tunsberg, but when I talk to the chronicler there's no interaction.I've given all three towns away to vassals. Is that a problem?
I've looked on Google about this problem, and there's a developer in the Steam forums saying you need to own all three, then you can give them away after finishing the quest.I've already given the three towns away, so have I ruined that quest? To my knowledge, I can't revoke titles from vassals, short of indicting them for treason, and I'm not doing that.So am I screwed? I can probably transfer the fiefs to me by editing the save file, but I shouldn't have to.
Mount And Blade Free
There should be an ingame solution, otherwise it should fail the quest for me.EDIT: I am willing to cheat if there's a way to transfer the fiefs to me with the cheat menu enabled. But, again, I shouldn't have to.Submitted May 29, 201. I've had an issue of bad micro stuttering in large battles with mods that include PBOD. Perisno thankfully has a patch to remove it from the game but I'm curious if I will miss anything major or gamebreaking from the mod and the battles playing without it? Basically are there any features now key to the mod that will break without PBOD activated?
The pros in the no PBOD patch claims smarter AI and apparently no cons but I always thought PBOD was supposed to make the AI much smarter and tougher to fight in large scale battle? IF you play with PBOD and don't have any micro stutter i'd like to know your battle size too cause i get it on anything 200+ with an i7 4790k.Submitted May 29, 2017 at 07:21AM by Matto97 http://ift.tt/2s6nVkw. I have an old problem in The Last Days mod where any battle with warg riders causes the game to crash. With the release of Bannerlord coming soon™, I assume we should see a shift as modders start working with the Bannerlord engine. Of course I doubt anything worth playing will come out within the first 6 months at least.
But alphas are still important!Modding is some tough work, and starting fresh on the new engine will definitely delay the arrival of new mods. Is there some kind of community of Warband modders that share resources to quicken their work, and is that setup to extend to Bannerlord?Unfortunately moddb and nexus don't really have a great setup for modders to share resources.Submitted May 28, 2017 at 11:35AM by Doomez http://ift.tt/2ruIj1U.

After talking with both of them a conversation is triggered (in the after battle screen) with an NPC named 'Trainer' and I get the options to take him prisoner, offer him a job or let him go. I chose to recruit him and now I have the dude, lvl 7 with 50 unspent weapon points, 1 attributte point, average stats and almost no skills what-so-ever. When commanding your troops in the field, what if there was an option for some sort of command view where the game pauses and the camera changes to an overhead view where you can see the map and issue movement and formation units to your units?I find that with the current style of commands it's hard to get movement just right.
For example getting archers to position correctly on a specific hill, and melee to stand in front. As a long time player I've always found the current commands kinda klunky but I've recently started using them a little more instead of randomly charging in like the degenerate I am.Submitted May 28, 2017 at 12:29AM by IntricateSunlight http://ift.tt/2qvyls3. Man cannot live on butter alone. This is a harsh reality that the Nordic colonials in Almerra Castle discovered soon after arriving. With supply lines cut and allies a world away, life was a constant struggle for the bearded ruffians. Gone were the days of plentiful fish and bearded women to pleasure.
This torturous existence could only be endured for so long.Tensions flared as desertions became a common occurrence. The final straw was when news of the death of the king, Peasent, arrived. Following a night of drinking and fish salting, Peasent fell off the wall of Sargoth during his midnight stumble around the city. This news broke the Nord colonials, who abandoned Almerra Castle, and set off across Swadia to return to their chilly homes. This flight did not go unnoticed by the Khergits or the Rhodoks. Both former rulers of Almerra, neither was willing to allow the other to reclaim the fortress without a fight. The Khergit hordes had slaughtered the Rhodok garrison at Almerra nearly a y. I finally decided to give a try to this module and man.
This is SO different. I just finished collecting companions, while trying to start some businesses around, since you need to make towns like you a bit, to start one (I like that feature). The lack of shields changes the game so much, making it more bloody. I find myself using for first time the dismount command, depending what kind of bandits/deserters I fight. Fighting enemies with pikes while mounted, seems like a perfect way to get demolished.I can not even imagine how a siege will be. Crossbows are out and pikes are awesome. Never cared much for bows, being one that loves how crossbows would break shield apart, but now that shields are not a thing and guns are absolutely sluggish, I see myself ending up with bowmen. What an odd, odd experience.Submitted May 27, 2017 at 01:15AM by weltallofid http://ift.tt/2qlu2o6.
So I'm playing without any mods right now, I tried diplomacy but it kinda fucked up my progress so I switched back and I want to finish this playthrough rather than start a new one.I have my own faction and by now I rule 50% of caldaria, trying to push for the finish. But right now the most time consuming task is to give fiefs to my vassals. In order to not piss everyone off I ride around and ask every single vassal about their opinion on who should get fief xyz. This takes up a lot of time, especially when I'm at war.
Gathering vassals as marshal helps, but the most distant vassals usually don't show up just like with feasts. Is there a better way to distribute the fiefs without having to ride around all the freaking time? After months of hard work I've finally proven myself to King Harlaus and now serve him as a lord. My first orders were given by Count Tredian who planned a siege of the city of Dhirim against our enemies, the Nords. We'd been fighting the Nords for a long time with little to no change and a push like this would be a devastating blow to our enemies. Not wanting to dissapoint my new King I rushed to Dhirim where I found Count Tredian locked in combat with a Nordic lord, a 65v160 encounter. Luckily I arrived just in time, rushing to his aid with my 100 strong army.
This was going to be an intense fight and I knew what I had to do.I opened up iTunes and loaded up Bastard off the Game Of Thrones Season 6 soundtrack before beginning the battle. As the strings faded in I ordered my cavalry to follow me, attempting to flank the enemy's defensive line as the rest of my men charged them head on. The track continued to build as I ordered the charge, joining my cavalry as they crashed. I've been thinking about new faction archetypes that mods could include and Aztecs seem like they'd be really cool and unique. I was thinking that their units would be entirely heavy infantry with a big focus on blunt and piercing weapons as well as slings and thrown weapons, but their drawback would be their lack of good shields and generally weak padded armour. Now, admittedly, I haven't played a huge amount of the mods out there, but the only one I have played that comes closest is the Lizardmen in Warsword, which isn't quite the same thing. I just thought I'd throw this out there and see what you all think or whether I've completely missed a mod that already includes this kind of thing.Submitted May 25, 2017 at 05:08AM by magicmerce http://ift.tt/2rkD9p5.

I hate how slow it is. Not just that I don't have a massive army in a few weeks. That I understand.
However, having a large enough force to handle the basic quests from vassals and guild masters who send you off on idiotic quests, is just overwhelmingly difficult and frustrating. Got sent off to the farthest sand village to escort a caravan to from near the bottom of the map at some lvl4 and had to save scum like mad because of the bandits there. All mounted and well geared in great numbers. Why would the game send me off to do that? Why would it let you figure out the hard way you can't do that and get you captured for a week and put you back to zero?Am I missing some easy stream of revenue?
People here have told me to invest in enterprises, but mentioned nothing of how to start from the ground up. I'm not going to manage 12k or whatever when I'm lvl4 without grinding and grinding and grinding increasingly sparse looter spawns.Someone help me, it's gone from enjoy. So I've played a bit of Mount & Blade for a fair few hours, then got the $5 Warband expansion and have been playing THAT for a fair few hours. Short story is, picked Swadia since they're supposed to always be in lucrative wars but they were never at war. Once I got my ass captured for screwing with people too much, I decided to start fresh.
Got brought on to the merc payroll easily since I'm of noble birth now.So, what's a good pace to go at? It seems like you have to bide your time a lot in this game. Even in my farthest save file I never DREAMED of trying to take on those lords and their 70+ soldiers. Should I stay by myself with no party members and have a large group of low pay soldiers for a while? Perhaps instead go for a smaller force of upgraded soldiers? Also, I'm aware that getting merc pay to dent my pay to my troops will help me stockpile money for bigger armies and better equipment, but aside from slowly crawling up to sacking caravans from folks we.
I want to train against few bots but If I'm running a server with bot players it'll just spawn a mish-mash of random units, though in the humans vs. Bots siege servers all the bots on the attacking team are just of one variety. I've only tried it for a day - just getting back into M&B after a long hiatus - and Silverstag is just great. It hits all the right buttons for me.It retains many elements of the base game that were good (thanks Taleworlds), puts in easily toggled options for some alterations, and makes innumerable quality of life enhancements. Now I have to figure out the strategy anew - will Shieldmaidens suffice into end-game, or will I have to stuff my armies once again with Huscarls?
How exactly should I level up my companions to make them suitable for kingdom management roles? What kind of personal abilities are good for what kind of personal roles? What is the best way now to maximize tournament earnings and enterprise cash flow? But this is all to the good. Learning a new game means I've just practically obtained a new game. Every single day. Is Xmas day.So, thanks to for a terrific job.I just want to give props to Silverstag here, but. If anyone has any answers f.
I have never tried to manage a Kingdom seriously. I started my own Kingdom a few times when i first played the game years back, but I didnt really understand the first thing about it. I just took random castles and tried to defend them. Now i have somewhat of a better grasp on the entire management side of things (at least in theory) and I can see that, as your kingdom expands, there will be a ton of stuff to manage. Especially to keep vasalls happy when giving out thiefs etc. Now my question is: How hard is a Victory with your own Kingdom really, without Diplomacy Mod? I heard there are some smaller problems in Vanilla, with you not being able to talk to Lords at your feast cause too many people attend etc.
But are there any major dealbreakers that make it almost impossible to win the game with your own Kingdom? What are your experiences with it and what should I especially look out for from the start?Submitted May 22, 2017 at 05:00AM by Ev0lutionz http://ift.tt/2rJLsHh. I recently got this game from Gog.com and I got FUCKING HOOKED. Two nights in a damn row with no sleep.I started two characters. On one I try to play the game as vanilla as possible to experience the game fully. The other? Well, I got so many hired blades and Sweden knights that I literally became The Crusade.
And yes, I do cheat on this one to get fun out of everything I can.I took over like half a 'country' and then became a vassal to the Sweden King for 5 minutes before quitting his leadership. I considered him an ally!I needed new Castles and so, I set my crusade towards rhodoka. I assblasted about 2/3 of the country before the Sweden King declared war on me.In my rage, I set the crusade, with my character using a giant two handed sword leading them, and took 1/3 of their land. Now I am not sure which one is the one to be conquered first. The rhodoka rarely attack, but the Sweden people attack when possible. But I need to claim more of their land while rhodoka is clos. First let me know if there's a better place than here to get help with this bug.
It's the Old Valyria quest you get from Ser Janis Lyren in the crossroads Inn. After accepting the quest, getting around 45k stags, 3 sets of tools and 70ish men I set out and eventually found the 'ruined castle' in Essos. When I go up to it I get the two options of 'claim this for yourself and attempt to rebuild' or 'leave this place alone'. This is where it seems to bug, When I select the option to claim for myself it gives the expected readout in the bottom left such as 'you lost 10000 stags, slavers used this be prepared for a battle, the castle has been rebuilt, quest complete: old valyria'.
Full-wave rectified5. Integral of a square wave. Half-wave rectifiedC k = 0, k odd, except6.
While it reads this out the ruins disappear and 12 or so hours go by in speed mode. During this time nothing reappears in the ruins place and when the speed mode finishes it pops up the dialogue again like I just found the castle for the first time, to have the opti.
The last two factions in my game besides Glorious Rhodoks™ were the Sarranids and the Nords. We were at war with the Nords, and were in the middle of steamrolling their last few fiefs. But just before we were done, every land-owning Sarranid defected to Rhodoks, giving us the entire map. I got a message saying the kingdom of Nords was destroyed, but the Sarranid Sultanate is still a faction, even though it's had zero land for quite a while now. I don't know if you have to be at war with them for the faction to be eliminated, but I'm not sure if they can even wage war since they have no land and a handful of vassals.Submitted May 21, 2017 at 06:15PM by CaptainWafflebeard http://ift.tt/2qJDNLv.
